Justin Broyles of R. J. Corman Railroad Group Elected Vice Chairman of ASLRRA's Executive Committee

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky – R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of R. J. Corman Railroad Group's Executive Vice President, Commercial Affairs Justin Broyles, to the position of Vice Chairman of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association's (ASLRRA) Executive Board of Directors. Broyles will serve a three-year term in this position as he continues to serve as its Vice President of the Eastern Region and will also take on the role of Chair of the Short Line Safety Institute (SLSI).

The American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) is a non-profit trade association representing the interests of the nation’s 600 short line and regional railroads and railroad supply company members in legislative and regulatory matters.

“Justin has been a thoughtful and impactful contributor to the work of the ASLRRA Board of Directors, the members who direct the organization’s strategic goals and priorities and provide governance and oversight to the Association. He has also well-represented railroads in the Eastern Region as one of four Regional Vice Presidents on the Executive Committee,” said American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association President Chuck Baker. “As the newly elected Vice Chair, Justin will play a crucial role and provide critical continuity to our efforts, as the Vice Chair stands ready to step into Chairmanship at any time. His expertise in the specifics of railroading balanced with his interest in broader railroad trends and policy makes him a great fit for this position. Broyles is an experienced railroad industry executive with over 20 years in business development roles in rail-related services such as emergency response, railroad construction, storm response, and national account management.

As R. J. Corman Railroad Group's Executive Vice President, Commercial Affairs, Broyles is responsible for all Class I corporate relations for the R. J. Corman companies and leads the commercial endeavors for R. J. Corman Railroad Company's short lines and Storm Team.
