Resilience & Reduced Downtime

In the event of a malfunction on one of the traction motors, the on-board computer system can be used to CUT OUT the failing unit and CONTINUE operation. In the past, a locomotive would be out of service until it could be repaired.

When a GenSet needs replaced, the locomotive can still do light-duty work. A new GenSet can be installed as quickly as an 8-hour shift.
