West Virginia Lines

The West Virginia Line joined the R. J. Corman Railroad Company
in July, 2005. Interchanging with CSXT in the heart of the New River
Gorge, at Thurmond, West Virginia. The West Virginia Line connects
with Mount Hope, WV - 12 miles away. In 2005, three
customers were serviced in the Mount Hope area - Georgia Pacific,
Austin Powder and Tanner Industries. In 2006, a new customer, Pioneer Fuel Company, began shipping coal from Pax, WV to Thurmond, WV. When Pioneer Fuel became a customer of the West Virginia Line the track was extended to 16 miles from Thurmond to Pax.
