Derailment Emergency
A service in which loaded or empty railcars are held on designated railroad tracks until they are needed, released or routed to another location. Railcar storage may be provided for short-term or long-term needs and may accommodate tank cars, boxcars, hopper cars, flatcars and other equipment.
Storage locations may also provide access to interchange connections, railcar inspection, cleaning or repair services.
