R. J. Corman Participates in Transportation Roundtable with U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy

R. J. Corman Railroad Group was honored to participate in a transportation and infrastructure roundtable hosted by Congressman Andy Barr and featuring U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy.

Justin Broyles, President & CEO of R. J. Corman Railroad Group and Chairman of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA), joined a select group of transportation and business leaders from across Kentucky to discuss infrastructure priorities, freight mobility, and economic growth.

During the discussion, Broyles highlighted the critical role short line railroads play in connecting manufacturers, agricultural producers, and other businesses to the national freight network. He also emphasized the importance of continued investment in freight rail infrastructure to improve safety, strengthen supply chains, support domestic manufacturing, and create long-term economic opportunity in Kentucky and throughout the United States.

"Short line railroads are an essential part of America's transportation network, providing the first- and last-mile connections that help move products, create jobs, and support economic growth," said Broyles. "We appreciated the opportunity to discuss these issues with Secretary Duffy and transportation leaders from across Kentucky."

R. J. Corman extends its sincere appreciation to Congressman Andy Barr for convening transportation and business leaders to discuss issues critical to Kentucky's economy and freight transportation network. The company also thanks Secretary Duffy for engaging directly with transportation stakeholders and for the opportunity to discuss policies that support economic growth in Kentucky and across the nation.
