R. J. Corman Tour de Lex: Celebrating Community, Legacy, and Lexington’s 250th Anniversary

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, R. J. Corman Railroad Group proudly served as the main sponsor of the R. J. Corman Tour de Lex, a family-friendly cycling event held in celebration of Lexington’s 250th anniversary. The event brought together residents, employees, and community partners for a day of wellness and celebration.
The ride began at the iconic Kentucky Horse Park and followed the scenic Legacy Trail to the North Lexington YMCA, offering participants a leisurely route through one of the region’s most cherished greenways. Attendees enjoyed a variety of attractions, including a “touch-a-truck” experience featuring R. J. Corman equipment, food trucks, and a dedicated kids’ play area.
The Tour de Lex was inspired by a shared vision between R. J. Corman and 250Lex, the city’s anniversary initiative. The idea resonated deeply with the company, whose founder, Rick Corman, was a passionate advocate for fitness and community engagement. His legacy of wellness and philanthropy continues to shape the company’s values and outreach efforts.
The event also reflected R. J. Corman’s deep ties to Central Kentucky. With headquarters in Nicholasville and operations throughout Lexington, the company has long been committed to giving back to the communities it serves.
