R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC Announces Organizational Changes

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. – R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC announces the appointments of Nathan Henderson to serve as President of R. J. Corman Railroad Services, LLC and of Noel Rush to serve as Senior Vice President Commercial Development. Their respective backgrounds in the railroad industry and corporate finance and operations make them highly qualified to serve in these roles. Each of these transitions are effective immediately. Henderson and Rush will continue to report to R. J. Corman President and CEO, Ed Quinn.

Nathan Henderson joined the R. J. Corman family of companies in January 2011 after an impressive 14 year career with CSX Transportation. He has served in several leadership roles throughout his nearly six years of service including Vice President of Material Sales, Vice President of Strategic Sales and Marketing, and most recently as Chief Commercial Officer. Each of these positions has provided Nathan with an extensive background in topics such as safety performance, customer-focused delivery, service quality, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Henderson has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Morehead State University, serves on the Associates Advisory Board for the Association of American Railroads (AAR) and was recently reelected to the board of the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC). In his new role he will be tasked with overseeing the daily operations and development of the Railroad Services company, which offers railroad construction, emergency response and maintenance of way services.

Noel Rush’s 20 year tenure with R. J. Corman has provided him the opportunity to hold leadership roles in several facets of the company such as, President of R. J. Corman Derailment Services, Vice President of Finance and Administration, and Vice President Risk Management. Within these roles he was responsible for overseeing the company’s finance department, its fleet and potential acquisitions, building operating and capital budgets and coordinating with corporate counsel. In addition to his regular responsibilities, Mr. Rush helped to establish and led the highly renowned R. J. Corman Storm Team for nearly fifteen years. Rush holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of the South. Upon his movement into this role, he will assume responsibility for further developing the company’s corporate marketing strategies, client services, executive relationships and government affairs.
