R. J. Corman Railroad Services Company, LLC Opens New Division in Jacksonville, Fla.

R. J. Corman Railroad Services, LLC announces the official opening of their new division in Jacksonville, Florida. The location will provide a myriad of services to customers throughout the region. This is the second Railroad Services location to open in the last six months, following the Council Bluffs division, which began operations in June of this year.

This division will provide support to customers such as the Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) and CSX Transportation (CSX). Railroad Services personnel have already secured multiple contracts with FEC for emergency services and track work. Additionally, this location will provide an opportunity to build new relationships with industries along the coast.

With this in mind, we plan to utilize this location for both emergency and non-emergency services.”

This division will be able to perform jobs such as railroad tie replacement, bridge repairs and maintenance of way. Additionally, emergency crews may be dispatched from this location in response to derailments, track damage and severe weather conditions. The Railroad Services Company also plans to use this location as a staging area for heavy equipment to use on jobs throughout the area.
