Alín Campián joined R. J. Corman in 2020 as Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Yield Management and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, he oversees the company’s full spectrum of financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and compliance, budgeting, reporting, cost and economic analysis, capital allocation, and profitability management.

Prior to joining R. J. Corman, Alín held senior leadership roles spanning finance and business development at CSX Transportation, Florida East Coast Railway, and Patriot Rail Company.

Alín is a graduate of Duke University’s CFO Program and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Economics. He has also earned multiple advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Communication Science, a Master’s in Accounting, and an MBA in Financial Management from North Carolina State University.

In addition to his responsibilities at R. J. Corman, Alín serves on the Surface Transportation Board’s Rail Energy Transportation Advisory Committee (RETAC), the Board of Directors of the Railway Supply Institute, and the Executive Committee of the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers (MARS).
