Hirokazu "Hiro" Sasaki serves as Vice President, System Safety and Commercial Development. In this role, he oversees system-wide safety initiatives and commercial development efforts for the company's industrial switching operations. Hiro joined R. J. Corman following a successful career with Union Pacific Railroad, where he held leadership positions in train and terminal operations across multiple regions. His experience includes managing large-scale rail operations, leading cross-functional teams, and advancing safety, service, and operational performance. Prior to his current role, Hiro served as Assistant Vice President of Operations for R. J. Corman Railroad Company's South Region and as a Consultant for R. J. Corman Switching Company, LLC. He has more than a decade of railroad industry leadership experience and is recognized for driving operational excellence, organizational improvement, and strategic growth.
