This week the R. J. Corman Railroad Group had the honor to host the Association of American Railroads’ Specially Equipped Freight Car Committee (SEFCC) at its headquarters in Nicholasville, KY.
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky – R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC announces the appointment of Fred Mudge to its Board of Directors, effective August 1st. Mudge, former Secretary of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, played an integral part in the R. J. Corman companies for more than 19 years, where he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors as well as Interim President and CEO.

On June 29th, the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) announced that 13 R. J. Corman short lines were winners of Jake Awards for their above-industry average safety performance during 2021.

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky - R. J. Corman Railroad Company was awarded a Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI) grant by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) that will benefit the R. J. Corman Central Kentucky Lines (RJCC).
The CRISI Program is a Federal DOT funding initiative for projects that improve railroad safety, efficiency, and reliability. Through this grant, the R. J. Corman Railroad Company will receive a total of $7,380,600 in funds.
Every year R. J. Corman Railroad Group contributes to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in honor of our late founder Rick Corman. The relationship between the two institutions spans over 20 years and is deeply ingrained in R. J. Corman's history and vision of generosity.
