After multiple years of arduous work, the R. J. Corman Signaling wiring shop has completed an impressive project. They have diligently wired 185 cases for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) through JJD Electric. SEPTA is the regional public transportation authority that operates services for nearly 4 million people in five counties in and around Philadelphia, PA.

On the night of March 2nd and into the morning of March 3rd, 2020, Severe storms and tornadoes plowed through central Tennessee, including the city of Nashville. The storms caused casualties, many people were injured, thousands experienced power outages, hundreds of buildings were wrecked, and debris was scattered everywhere. Amid this destruction, R. J. Corman crews stepped up to provide essential storm clean-up and restore rail transportation systems operations.    

Vermont Floods Storm Team Response - Another Successful and Safe Deployment

In early to mid-July 2023, Vermont and neighboring states experienced a devastating natural disaster known now by the National Weather Service as the Great Vermont Floods. The most widespread and significant flood damage occurred because of prolonged heavy rainfall of 3 to 9 inches within 48 hours on July 10th-11th on top of already-saturated ground from previous storms.

R. J. Corman Railroad Services Emergency Completes Impressive Job in Wyoming

On Friday, June 23, a major storm system was moving across Nebraska and Wyoming. The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service said that eight tornadoes of varied intensity hit Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle. One of these tornadoes caused a derailment near Wright, Wyoming, on a Class I line. They called R. J. Corman Railroad Service’s Emergency team to respond to the derailment of 25 cars.

R. J. Corman Railroad Services: Post-Derailment Cleanup in Tennessee

On March 7, 2018, 13 cars and three locomotives derailed in the mountains of Tennessee. The cars derailed on the side of a steep mountain, and the track could only be accessed from one angle. Several cars had also tumbled down into a ravine and needed to be retrieved, but there was no clear path to access the area where the cars were located. R. J.
